5G Strong Source Millimeter Waves, what is it?

Today we talk about millimeter waves. Mobile communication mainly uses electromagnetic waves to propagate in space, which is the bottleneck of mobile communication. Because the functional characteristics of electromagnetic waves are determined by other frequencies, different frequencies have different properties and uses, and resources are limited. The higher the frequency, the richer the frequency resources that can be used, so as to achieve faster speeds. 5G's power is above 24GHZ, and currently the main test is 28GHz. here is a formula. At 28GHZ, the wavelength is 10.7 mm, or what we call millimeter waves. It makes 5G so fast, but the higher the frequency of the wave, the shorter the wavelength, the closer it is to straight line propagation, the worse the diffraction and the ability to penetrate walls, and the greater the propagation attenuation.

Communication:

Connected:Connected media can transmit data at very high rates.

Wireless:The use of electromagnetic waves for communication.

The main characteristics of the function of electromagnetic waves are determined by its frequency. Electromagnetic waves of different operating frequencies have different properties as well as characteristics and thus have different uses.

At present, we mainly use radio waves for communication. Of course,qcm6490 light wave communication is also on the rise, such as Lifi.

Radio waves are a type of electromagnetic waves with limited frequency resources. Therefore, in order to avoid interference and conflicts, frequencies are divided and assigned to different objects and uses.

All along, we mainly use if ~ UHF for cell phone communication.

With the development of 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G, the radio wave frequencies used are getting higher and higher. The higher the frequency, the richer the frequency resources that can be utilized. The richer the frequency resources, the higher the transmission rate that can be achieved.

Higher Frequency → More Resources → Faster Speed

Frequency resources are like carriages, the higher the frequency, the more carriages, and the more information can be loaded at the same time.

So, what are the specific frequencies used for 5G? As shown in the figure below.

The frequency bands for 5G can be divided into two kinds:One is below 6GHz, not much different from our current 2/3/4G. There is another one, very high, above 24GHz. At present, what is a distinguishing feature of 5g mmwave the international mainly use 28GHz to do experiments.

This problem is the first information technology development characteristic of 5G - millimeter wave

Electromagnetic waves are characterized by higher frequencies, shorter wavelengths, and more straight-line propagation (diffraction and the ability to penetrate walls is worse). The higher the frequency, the greater the attenuation in the propagation medium.

Mobile network communication companies if we use a high frequency band, then it is the biggest problem, is that the information transmission distance is significantly shortened, the level of coverage capacity is significantly weakened.
